Overview

Few organizations make meeting facilitation a priority - hence we don't see many meeting leaders getting very good at it.  And we all spend far too much time in meetings to not take full advantage of the time and energy of those participating.

Knowing what an organization, team or group wants to achieve is important. Developing and managing the right “how” (process) is key to reaching the desired outcomes.  If you’ve ever planned or been in a meeting or planning process that seems to have gone awry (i.e. group is bogged down in unimportant topics, one person does all the talking, not everyone contributes, unsure if the whole group buys in, or the ending does not result in the desired outcome) and you want to learn how to manage things differently and more successfully, then this workshop is for you!

At this one-day workshop you will learn how to make meetings an effective tool for your organization’s success.  Learn the elements that make for effective meetings such as setting a clear agenda, clarity on the type of meeting being held, sticking to the agenda, summarizing action items, and many more. Learn leadership skills that will help you lead or facilitate effective and productive meetings. You’ll get tips to help you take full advantage of the meetings you attend, and positively affect meetings to achieve desired outcomes.
