Indirect Cost Survey
InsideNGO periodically surveys the NGO community on indirect cost rates. The survey reports on actual rates, methodologies, bases, allocations by cost category to overhead and G&A pools, pass-through rates, actual versus provisional discrepancies, and rate trends. In addition we report on fringe benefit rates, and break out staff functional categories so you can see the relative staff percentages that agencies have in finance, program, fundraising, bid and proposal, HR, etc.
The survey has proven helpful to those agencies thinking of changing their rates, those wanting to compare how their allocations measure up against colleague agencies, what other agency rates are, and those wanting to follow trends in the industry. Rates are reported in a manner that keeps the identity of participating agencies confidential.
The survey is only available to those organizations that participate, at a fee of $195 for participating InsideNGO member agencies, $450 for participating non-members agencies. For more information, contact info@InsideNGO.org
