John joined LINGOs in 2011 and is responsible for LINGOS’s project and program management work. To do this, he works with a wide range of organizations, LINGOs members, other INGOs, and any organization with an interest in improving project management in our sector. John has trained over 30 organizations and manages a network of project management trainers.
Before LINGOs, John worked for Oxfam GB. He was regional program manager for Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean. He managed Oxfam’s project management systems and managed a global program on gender and governance. Before this, John worked the British Council in Spain and Vietnam. John has an MBA and an MA in Education. He speaks French and Spanish and is a Prince 2 Practitioner. John lives in Oxford in the UK, and he is the vice-chair of PM4NGOs and chair of the Dalit Solidarity Network.

I am a competitive target shooter and historical fencer. I have just translated an eighteenth-century Spanish fencing treatise, which will be presented for the first time in October in Edinburgh at the Smallsword Symposium.
