Operational Excellence Awards 2017

For the eighth year, InsideNGO will be awarding the Operational Excellence Awards at our Annual Conference, recognizing individuals who are making outstanding contributions to their organization and the NGO community at large. The Operational Excellence Awards are given to highly accomplished practitioners who are innovating, collaborating, and ensuring excellence within their organization.

Do you work with a colleague in NGO operations who is having a significant impact within your organization? Perhaps you know a team of operations professionals that deliver high standards of excellence with everything they do? Or maybe you would like to acknowledge a young professional whom you consider an emerging leader in development? Tell us about them!

  • Emerging Leader*
  • Finance
  • Grants and Contracts
  • Human Resources

Nominations are due May 18

Nominations are being accepted through May 18, 2017. You can make your nominations here. Our criteria are simple: Your nominee must work for an InsideNGO member organization in one of the categories listed above.

Award winners will be selected in June and honored at the Annual Conference on July 19. Winners recieve complimentary admission to the 2018 Annual Conference.

*Emerging Leader Award – Nominees should meet the following criteria:
•    A talented professional with 5-15 years of international or relief experience that includes a demonstrated commitment to their organization and the NGO community
•    A strong performer with the ability, aspiration, and potential to advance to a leadership role within the sector 
•    An individual contributor who knows how to embrace change, influence and engage others, and foster a spirit of continuous learning and innovation
